This lovely long summer week-end was an opportunity for my college classmates to gather for a mini reunion in Santa Fe.  It was a wonderful experience.  How about this  trip for a reunion of friends, of family, college classmates or other groups?

It is almost always less expensive to travel in groups.  If you have friends or family who would like to travel with you, we can help you with many special offers.  Just choose where you would like to go and we will custom make a trip for you.

You make a stop at Puye Cliffs, the ancestral home site of the present day Santa Clara Pueblo Indians.  A Pueblo guide will join you for a driving tour of the cliff dwellings and mesa top ancestral pueblo ruin.

After your visit to Puye, you continue your beautiful drive, climbing the side of a large volcanic mountain range, the Jemez, up to the top of a volcanic plateau.  You pass through a landscape of glorious mesas and canyons that nearly became a national park before the Manhattan Project began in 1943.

You learn about Los Alamos’ history and have lunch in the town.   You visit the Los Alamos Historical Society Museum and the Norris Bradbury Museum operated by Los Alamos National Laboratory.

Few states have the time depth and cultural breadth of New Mexico.  Opened in 2002, the Museum of Spanish Colonial Art was designed by John Gaw Meem. This building is a classic example of the “Spanish Colonial” architectural style that Meem pioneered in the early twentieth century.
